*No Practice June 29-July 2
Due to the unfortunate situation we are facing with the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the strong uncertainty surrounding competitive youth Lacrosse programs through YLM and MSLAX, the Maple Grove Youth Lacrosse Association Board has decided to suspend the spring and summer seasons.
Boys and Girls Spring & Summer Field Seasons have been cancelled and we will be refunding 100% of all registration fees. Refunds are in process and you should see them in your accounts in the next few days.
We are excited to announce our ‘MGLAX Summer Lacrosse Training and Skills Clinic’ to all Maple Grove Lacrosse participants. Information regarding the clinic and registration will be posted very soon and shared via email. It will be conducted on weeknights at our new Maple Grove/Fernbrook Turf Fields. Age group specific schedules will be released after registration and will be focused around groups (PODS) of 9 players and a volunteer coach. The small PODS are in accordance with all Local, State and Federal guidelines, and will provide very personalized attention for each player. The clinics will begin the week of June 15th concluding the week of August 3rd and provide roughly 30 hours of development for each participant.
Although doubtful, if any of the leagues (YLM, GNLL, or MSLAX) decide to move forward with a limited and non-competitive 7v7 or 5v5 season, we will keep you apprised of those opportunities.
