Girls Fall Field Lacrosse

MGYLA is proud to offer a fall field lacrosse season for girls 10U, 12U, and 14U.

The fall season runs from September - October 2024.

Age Groups and Costs:

Girls 10U  [typically 3rd & 4th grades] -  $150
Girls 12U  [typically 5th & 6th grades] -  $225
Girls 14U  [typically 7th & 8th grades] -  $225 

Teams will practice 1 to 2 times per week and are scheduled at the MGMS (Maple Grove Middle School Field)

Proposed practice time and location.
10U - 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM  - Monday & Wednesday
12U - 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM  - Monday & Wednesday
14U - 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM - Monday & Wednesday
The exact time of practices should be verified with coaches and through Sportsengine.  Because of receding daylight in the evening during the fall, times may shift earlier, but no practice will ever start before 5:00pm

**COACHES ARE NEEDED AT EVERY AGE GROUP, WITHOUT COACHES WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIELD TEAMS**

The Great Northern Lacrosse League (GNLL) Girls Fall Field Season provides a fun, safe, and supportive environment where area youth players can compete, learn and grow. 

Participating youth association teams play 7 regular-season games throughout September & October at conveniently located regional host sites. 

All registrations also includes entry into the  Great Pumpkin Shootout Tournament (GPS).   This tournament occurs October 11-13 in Farmington, MN. 

The league provides the following for each game:  
    •    Certified MLUA officials
    •    Certified EMT's equipped with AED's 
    •    Professional Site Managers / Scorekeepers
    •    Mobile-responsive schedules, statistics, and standings. 

Regular Season: 5 week season. Games run between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, on Sundays.

Divisions:  14U / 12U / 10U played in small-sided format

Rules: MN Girls Youth Rules, 7v7 (including goalie) Format with 2 x20 minute running halves (this may change to quarters). 

Eligibility: The league follows US Lacrosse Age & Eligibility Guidelines. US Lacrosse membership is required for all players and coaches.
